I would like to inform everyone here that you must be registered to use the downloads mod. There have been many downloads reported broken due to guests thinking they're broken because it throws back an "Access Denied" error. I have removed the Downloads link from the main page if you're not logged in, only registered, LOGGED IN users may see the Downloads link. I just wanted to clear this up in case any guests have been confused.

If you experienced some downtime earlier today, it was because the download mod was being installed! Hopefully the mod won't break like it did last time, and more mods can be hosted right here on DM! As it stands right now, there isn't really much to see or download, but more content will be added down the road. We hope you enjoy it!

If you experience any bugs/glitches, please post them in this thread so I can fix them as soon as possible.

As everyone may, or may not be aware we have a new feature... If you look along the top nav bar you will see a link called videos. Basicly its like our own little YouTube, except videos are not hosted here, you uploaded them anywhere you want that has an embed code and when you "upload" the video here you place the embed code where it tells you. You can also add a few details about the video, then once uploaded it lets other users here comment and rate the video without going on to you... [ More... ]

It took me awhile to notice this, but any file that was uploaded to Driver Madness prior to the outage is...corrupt. I was in the process of fixing links and making sure everything over on the Modifications forum for Driver 1 was working, and to my startling discovery, it turns out that every single file that was uploaded to DM using the file uploader is corrupt! I have no idea if there's a possible fix to this, I do have an entire forum backup from awhile ago which should have all of the files, but PHPBB stores the files differently than one would expect (nothing like file hosting), so for all I know, they are permanently corrupt.... As the majority of us are aware, Driver Madness took a hard hit and we're back to an old database from October. However, it appears that this backup was made JUST as I was fixing up the forums and getting everything organized. I need everyone to let me know if any of their permissions are messed up, or any other kind of bug like that. I will get it fixed as soon as possible.
